Designed specifically for planar magnetic and other low-efficiency headphones, the CK100 is a compact high-power Class AB push-pull amplifier built for modern desktop Hi-Fi systems. Its operating point is biased close to Class A, combining a lively, refined tonal character with excellent output efficiency, fast dynamics, and an exceptionally quiet background.
A separate power-supply design minimizes noise, while relay-switched headphone and speaker outputs allow the CK100 to serve as both a dedicated headphone amplifier and a compact integrated power amplifier. It delivers up to 30W into 8Ω speakers at THD ≤1% and automatically accommodates 4–16Ω loudspeakers. Headphones up to 100Ω can be driven directly, while optional B10 and B25 impedance-matching adapters provide improved power transfer and more precise performance with higher-impedance models. Advanced protection circuitry safeguards both headphones and speakers, making the CK100 a powerful yet highly practical centerpiece for demanding desktop systems.
