Created as part of Raphaelite’s flagship ARTAG SIGNATURE Series, the 1619 is a pure single-ended Class A integrated tube amplifier conceived without the usual constraints of size, material, or cost. At its heart is a matched pair of vintage American 1619 output tubes, supported by a 5T4 rectifier and dual 6J7 driver tubes, delivering 5.5W per channel with the immediacy, tonal density, and natural flow that define a carefully executed single-ended design.

Every ARTAG SIGNATURE 1619 is built around Raphaelite’s reference-grade fully coupled transformers, wound with imported 5N single-crystal silver wire over Japanese EI cores. With transformer-coupled signal paths and a zero-feedback topology, the amplifier is designed to preserve musical texture, harmonic richness, and high-frequency delicacy without relying on global negative feedback. A tube-rectified linear power supply, separated high- and low-voltage sections, suspended grounding, chassis shielding, tube isolation, and soft-start circuitry work together to achieve an exceptionally quiet foundation.

The construction reflects the same no-compromise philosophy. A substantial brass chassis is framed in custom solid walnut and complemented by brass meters and CNC-machined controls. Inside, an ALPS RK50 dual-gang carbon-film potentiometer, custom high-voltage capacitors, JENSEN capacitors, WBT-AG pure-silver RCA sockets, and NEUTRIK silver-plated XLR connectors complete a signal path built around premium analog components. At over 41 kg, the ARTAG SIGNATURE 1619 is as much an expression of traditional amplifier craftsmanship as it is a reference-level listening instrument.
